ATECO is the brand name of American Tractor Equipment Corporation. It was a company in Oakland, California that built attachments such as loaders, blades, rippers, etc. to fit various crawler tractors, primarily John Deere. This tractor is also equipped with a 3-point hitch which is somewhat rare. Due to the distance above the ground for a crawler tractor compared to the same tractor in a wheel configuration, parts of the the 3-point hitch are unique to the crawler version. As a result, if one is looking for 3-point hitch parts for a crawler tractor, the parts can be very expensive.
