Worked for 25 years at Mt. Baker Plywood. Worked 18 years as a mechanic for Birch Equipment Rentals and retired in 2006.Purchased my 1st John Deere tractor in 2004 and since then have acquired 5 more - all but my current project (the '39 B) are restored. My son also has 2 John Deere tractors. I do all my own mechanic work and painting. It keeps me more than busy! I'm always looking for other affordable,restorable models I don't have.
My wife and I have lived on a 2 acre mini-farm at Laurel, WA for 43 years. In the summer, we enjoy spending time at Waldron Island at the family cabin and at our lot on Lopez Island.
